Its Mah Birthday!

I am ONE YEAR old today!! I can't beleive I am a full grown pup now.

Puppy's first night home

First "walk"
It seems like only yesterday when I was first bought home. I was so tiny I even had to be carried to the park in a bag. I didn't even want to get out I was so nervous! Now I am a seasoned pro, and I cant wait to see what fun the next year brings!

Happy Holidays!

HOHOHO Hope everyone had a great Holiday! Santa's Helper here, I had a busy night pulling Santa's sleigh. After all that hard work I was spoiled rotten with presents and ate too many bones. It was a real pawty :) I was on the Sunshine Coast for Christmas where it should actually be called the rainiest coast!  I went for a few hikes in the forest, played in the rain, and got nice and dirty. It was lots of fun!!

Ps. People thought I looked like Max (the Grinch's Dog), What do you think?

Marcel The Shell

My fav video.
Marcels biggest regret is that he will never have a dog. You know what they say... "Lint is a Shell's best friend."

Oh the Places I Go...

I go for 2 or 3 walks a day. This is me waiting patiently at a light on the way to the park...
Puggles love to go for walks!
Yaletown Dog Park. My #1 go-to....
I have lots of buddies here.
But when its really chilly sometimes they don't come out to play!

Sometimes I have to wander a little farther...

But then I'm a pleased pup on the water :)
 Taking in the sights...

A little farther is a "on leash" park. Its quite fun but I get into mischief here and drink out of puddles.

Farther West is a large off leash park.
I have had some epic battles here (playful battles duhhhh). I will show you some of the action shots soon!

Potty Training

Lunzie is NOT fully potty trained still. OK that's a lie she is. We are not fully trained yet. We still use puppy pads. you know those flat diapers. Yes Luna is fully trained to go on those 100% of the time, when inside. She will usually hold #2 for outside. But will still go pee inside pretty often. If we take her out enough she will always go outside, but she wont hold it if we try to make her. (She will usually hold it when we are away because she sleeps.) ANYWAYS. I just have to update you. We will be working towards using the poochie bell. If you don't know what that is then get with the program and look here.

Until then we will continue to use puppy pads. The ones we like the most are the Hartz  brand.
They are the cheapest (about $15 for 50) and they provide the best protection/ least leakage.

On the other hand the WORST EVER are the Puddles training pads.
For $25for 30 pads you can get over sized leaking puppy pads. They are usually made incorrectly with the filler exploding everywhere when you go to open them. Every pack I have bought has caused lint and toxic filler to explode everywhere and be inhaled. If you want to waste you money and have a big mess I suggest this brand.

Dog Grooming Essentials: Earthbath

I get really dirty at the park and in the rain, so I get bathed a lot more then the average pupster. That is why my shampoo is really important. It doesn't dry out my skin at all or make me itchy. It just makes me soft and cuddly :)
This is what I use. Its Earthbath Puppy Shampoo. A totally natural product that's even safe for the environment. It is tearless and my Mom can actually understand the ingredient list:
Purified water, renewable coconut based cleansers, aloe vera, natural cherry essence, olive oil squalene (natural preservative). All ingredients are natural and 100% biodegradable.
I recommend this 100%, it lasts forever as you can dilute it 1 part soap to 10 parts water! I have already had it my whole entire life and the bottle is still almost full!!
Ps. It is also safe to use on flea treatments, and wont wash it off :)

My second favourite grooming essential by Earthbath. It is their ear wipes. I had a liquid ear cleaner that we got from the vet but just the smell caused me to run under the bed and hide! These are so easy to use even for the most wiley of pups! They are fragrance free, and use natural witch hazel and other plant extracts to clean!

Lately my eyes have been tearing a bit. I don't know why but its not the best look for me. I haven't yet but I'm going to get the eye wipes from this brand as well. I will let you know how they do at removing the tear stains. They only contain Purified water, aloe vera, boric acid, polysorbate. In my eyes the more natural the better!!!

I love you man

How cute is Anwar  Sadat, the Puggle from "I Love You Man".

My Fav Scene: Anwar pooping on the sidewalk and runner steps in it!

This movie is where my parents realized that they wanted a Puggle!
